Ways To Save


At college a students biggest worry tends to be if they will make it to class on time, or if they will be able to go grocery shopping without spending $100. Here are some helpful tips when spending habits during college life!

When buying food: NEVER grocery shop when your hungry! You will spend more money on food you don't need. To cut down extra spending, you can buy some foods from the cafe. Buy food that does not parish quickly, that way none will go to waste!

School Supplies: School supplies are sold in the pioneer mercantile store, along with textbooks, and many other unique gadgets. I recommend buying used textbooks to save some money, and purchasing only what you need for supplies, not extras.

Budget: Set limits on how much money you spend in different categories, such as food, clothes. This can also mean staying organized in your shopping plans as well. For example, by making lists before shopping, this limits your from buying unnecessary items-stick to the plan!

Save: By putting funds away for a rainy day adventures, you are able to have money to spend with friends without feeling guilty for spending it!
