Backpack Essentials
As a freshman, or even a sophomore, getting into the college routine can be hard. Setting up your dorm room, learning the campus layout, making friends, and figuring out your class schedule.
Some class schedules might be quite hectic causing you to be in class for several hours of the day. I am writing this blog post to help you decide what is best in your backpack to help get through the crazy days of college.
1. Writing Utensils
So many classes require writing and there is nothing worse than showing up to class unprepared. Whether it be pen or pencil, something is better than nothing.
2. Notebooks
Since classes require writing, it might be good to have something to write in and to take notes. A good notebook or two will definitely come in handy.
3. Laptop
Here at Miles Community College all of our classes and homework assignments are posted online so having a laptop will benefit you.
4. Planner
Having a planner helps you to keep track of all things in your life, personal and scholastic.
5. Charger and Headphones
On your long days computers tend to die, as do phones. Carrying chargers for both helps minimize stress as the day goes on.
6. Snack and Drink
Studying all day makes a person hungry and when you're hungry you don't function to the best of your ability. Carrying a granola bar or some peanuts will help get you through the day.
Here were a few of my tips! Happy Studying!
