In the past MCC has not hosted an official "advising day" but this year is different! On Wednesday, November 14th there are no classes due to Advising Appointments going on.
What is Advising Day you ask?
This day is the official date that students can begin registration for the spring semester. Most Faculty and Staff host appointments and devote the day to registering students and tailoring schedules to fit everyone's wants and needs.
How to Prepare for Advising Day!
By now all Advisers have schedules up on their doors, make sure to stop by and get a spot before they are taken! It is beneficial to know what degree you are seeking and what classes you are likely to take in the spring. You can find the degree syllabus on the MCC Website, under Academics. These are the two basic things that you can do to help yourself and your advising day go smoothly!
